Statement of Purpose
Founded in 1972, the Goshin-Ryu Karate Association is among
the oldest martial arts organizations in the United States with
member schools throughout New Jersey, upstate New York, Florida
and Colorado.
Our Mission is to educate and assist individuals in learning
traditional Okinawan karate, modern day self defense and the
traditional weaponry in order to develop peace of mind and fitness
of body while inspiring to strive towards their maximum potential.
We recognize our commitment to provide the best and most
thorough teaching of karate wherever we can. We take pride in
the member schools in our Association and of the professional
and dedicated staff responsible for the day to day training.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share with you the
spirit of karate-do.
